Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 24 September 2026
Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of Course A stage talk production guide made through the website operated by stagetalknix. The guide covers live conversations, interview areas, camera framing, lighting setups, and smooth workflows for show formats. It is provided as digital content including video modules, downloadable resources, and interactive templates. The policy governs transactions for individual access, group licences, and any related add-on materials. It does not apply to third-party services or physical goods unless explicitly stated at checkout. All references to services mean access to the digital course materials hosted on our platform.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes, and Any Additional Charges
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. For customers located outside the United Kingdom, prices exclude local taxes or import duties that may arise under the laws of the destination country. No hidden fees are charged for standard access. Additional charges may apply for premium support packages or extended licence periods, which are clearly itemised before payment is authorised. Currency conversion fees imposed by the customer's bank or card issuer remain the responsibility of the purchaser and are not refunded by stagetalknix.
Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation, and Payment Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers processed through secure gateways compliant with UK financial regulations. Payment is authorised at the time of order placement. All transactions are secured using industry-standard encryption and comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. stagetalknix does not store full card details. Authorisation confirms sufficient funds and validates the payment instrument. In cases of suspected fraud, the order may be held for manual review, and the customer will be notified via email.
Order, Booking, or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed
Upon successful payment, an order confirmation email is sent to the address provided by the customer. This confirmation includes the order number, itemised description of the purchased guide access, and a copy of the applicable terms. The contract between the customer and stagetalknix is formed when the confirmation email is dispatched. Access credentials or download links are made available immediately after confirmation for digital content, subject to the cooling-off provisions outlined below.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods
Under UK consumer law, customers purchasing digital content have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase. Cancellation within this period entitles the customer to a full refund provided that no substantial portion of the content has been accessed or downloaded. If the customer consents to immediate access, the right to cancel may be lost once access begins. Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions, and Non-Refundable Items or Services
Refunds are available for unused digital access within the 14-day period if the customer has not viewed more than 20 percent of the video modules or downloaded any templates. Exclusions include cases where the customer has completed significant portions of the course, requested customised materials, or purchased promotional bundles marked as non-refundable. Promotional discounts and gift subscriptions are generally non-refundable once redeemed. stagetalknix reserves the right to refuse refunds where abuse of the policy is evident.
The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund
To request a refund, the customer must email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request" and include the order number, full name, registered email address, and a brief reason for the request. Supporting evidence such as screenshots of access attempts may be requested. Requests received outside the 14-day window will be assessed under exceptional circumstances only. Incomplete requests will be returned for additional information within five working days.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection, and Notification of the Refund Decision
Upon receipt of a complete request, stagetalknix will inspect access logs to verify eligibility. A decision will be communicated within ten working days. Approval results in immediate processing of the refund. Rejection will include a clear explanation citing the relevant policy clause. Customers may appeal a rejection once by providing further details within seven days of notification.
Refund Method, Processing Time, and When Funds Should Reach the Customer
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Credit or debit card refunds typically appear within five to ten working days, depending on the card issuer. PayPal refunds are usually processed within three working days. Bank transfer refunds may take up to fourteen days. stagetalknix is not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions. A confirmation email is sent once the refund has been initiated.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services, or Promotional Offers
Because Course A is delivered as digital content, access is granted instantly. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Promotional offers are subject to their own terms displayed at purchase. No partial refunds are provided for partially completed modules. Customers who experience technical issues preventing access may request an extension rather than a refund in the first instance.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks, and Suspected Fraud
Failed payments must be resolved within seven days or the order will be cancelled automatically. Duplicate charges detected by our system are investigated and refunded within five working days. Chargebacks are treated as disputes and may result in temporary suspension of access pending resolution. Suspected fraudulent activity leads to immediate order cancellation and reporting to relevant authorities in line with UK regulations.
Mandatory Consumer Rights in the United Kingdom That the Policy Cannot Exclude
This policy does not affect any statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Customers retain the right to pursue claims through the courts or alternative dispute resolution schemes. Nothing in this policy limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Contact Route, Policy Changes, and Last-Updated Date
Questions regarding this policy should be directed to [email protected] or by post to Screenworks, 22 Highbury Grove, London N5 2EF, United Kingdom. stagetalknix may update this policy to reflect changes in law or business practices. Material changes will be notified via email to registered customers at least thirty days in advance. The current version always supersedes previous versions. Continued use of the website after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
